TTSI began testing two new Toyota/Paccar 2021 Zero-Emission Fuel Cell Electric C8 HD 'Ocean' Trucks three weeks ago. These trucks operate in the Southern California drayage market no more than 20 miles from the ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles.
The trucks are performing exceptionally well and are a hit with the drivers. They are easy to fuel and operate and have a modern cab designed with driver comfort in mind.
The truck fuels at the newly debuted Shell hydrogen fueling station in Wilmington, CA, and is part of the "Shore to Shore" program at the Port of Los Angeles that tests the next generation of clean trucks and cargo-handling equipment.
TTSI tests nearly every NZE and NE class 8 heavy-duty truck on the market, with more coming as soon as next month and into 2022!
