Brian brings nearly 40 years of strategic vision, market expertise, industry relationships, and customer insight to Total Transportation Services (TTSI). He drives revenue growth by identifying and developing client opportunities, leveraging best practices, optimizing company assets, and closely collaborating with the leadership team and organization as a whole. He has strong business acumen, solutions-oriented, and is a proven sales leader.
Brian delivers effective guidance in growing sales organizations to meet and exceed enterprise goals. These are what drives his passion over the years, and what ultimately brings him to TTSI where "experience never gets old” and is valued!!!
Brian started in the transportation industry directly out of college as a management trainee at Roadway Express just after Deregulation. He spent ten years in a variety of sales roles, including sales management and the last five years as a top producing National Account Executive with multiple performance awards.
He then transitioned over to the truckload sector with CFI (Contract Freight Incorporate), which was one of the most profitable and proficient truckload carriers during the four years he managed sales in the West.
After a year as a Region Sales Manager for Swift Transportation and assisting them as they hit their first $500M year, he was then hired as a Regional Sales VP in the West at US Xpress. He would spend the next 25 years helping them grow from 700 to over 5,000 trucks and close to $2Billion in Revenue. He managed both the sales reps in the West and National Accounts for several years and, at one point, was personally responsible for a yearly book of business exceeding $250M.
Having spent his entire career domiciled in Southern California and with wife Crysti of 37 years, two kids, and a new granddaughter firmly planted in the state he would like to finish his career with the like-minded experienced professionals at TTSI. This industry is his passion and is where he has enjoyed building life long friendships on all sides of the supply chain world.
