Total Transportation Services (TTSI) collaborates with Nikola Corporation to expedite zero-emission transportation at the Port of Los Angeles/Long Beach. TTSI will begin vehicle trials of the Nikola Class 8 battery electric vehicles (BEV) and fuel-cell electric vehicle (FCEV) semi-trucks. TTSI has also written a letter of intent to order 100 of these amazing trucks. Nikola Tre trucks align with TTSI's desire to quickly reach its sustainability goal of converting its entire fleet to zero or near-zero emission vehicles by 2021. Nikola trucks meet TTSI's rigorous drayage and regional operating needs and provide the additional freight hauling capacity and quick fueling necessary to fleet operators. The Nikola Tre BEV is designed for local deliveries up to 350 miles. The Nikola Tre FCEV truck is targeted for distances up to 500 miles for the regional market.
